Western Greenland

I traveled to Western Greenalnd with Oceanwide Expeditions in May 2015. Spring was late coming to Greenland that year and there had been 2 metres of snow the night before we arrived. Many of the coastal towns and harbours were still iced in. Our cruise started in Maniitsoq on the west coast and visited fjords going north to the Artic Circle, returning from Sisimiut. We had snowshoe walks most days to see the ice caves, and the local wildlife.
